Good Fats

Getting enough of the right kind of fat is always easy when you tuck it into the small lidded dip container in your Portion Perfect Bento Box. 

You need a bit of it at every meal, but you don't need much of it. Try new flavor combinations by mixing these good fats with your favorite proteins, fruits and veggies, and make sure you get it from a variety of sources. 

Optimal choices include: coconut, avocados, olives and their oils, nuts like walnuts and almonds, and seeds of all kinds, which are all best left natural: unroasted and unsalted.

Keep your Omega-6s intake low, but—while you might not use it as dipping sauce—the health benefits of the Omega-3s in a good quality fish oil cannot be overestimated. Blend it in your smoothie, or try it in capsules.
