Exercise is an important part of your diet plan and overall lifestyle change. Regular exercise has been proven to reduce stress, decrease depression, increase brainpower, and improve self-esteem; and it can be fun and easy to do! So, make it a priority and get at least 30 minutes of dedicated physical activity, 5 days a week – you’re worth it!

Your daily physical activity can be anything you like to do – hit the gym, take a class, go for a run – the goal is to get your heart pumping and your muscles working.

On the other two days of the week, or "Rest Days" as we like to call them, it's important to still get a little activity in. We recommend a walk, light hike, or leisurely bicycle ride. 

Don't have a gym membership, or it's too hot or cold to go outside, or you’re not sure how to get started? We’ve gathered some ideas and workout videos that have been tested and approved by our wellness team. Start slow but always be sure to challenge and push yourself. If you haven’t exercised in a while, it may be difficult in the beginning but your strength and endurance will quickly increase, so stick with it.
